ready when you are…

As you can probably tell, this is not the first time I apply for a position at Lego, and there’s a reason for that.

Working for Lego is one of those life goals people talk about - not just because of all the hype surrounding how good a company it is to work for, but it just looks like so much fun!

I’m really genuinely an easy going guy with a good sense of humor who doesn’t really panic under pressure, and I would love the opportunity to show what I’m capable of.

I DO HAVE WHAT IT TAKES!

Demonstrated ability in eCommerce working as technical project manager

at sofa.com, I Project Managed (using Agile methodology) two complete redesigns and one replatforming, and that wasn’t even my full time job! I did that while still running eCommerce in parallel - making sure Digital Marketing was up and running, managing day to day website updates, running CRO projects, SEO, etc - all good examples of my time management, organisational and prioritising skills.

Strong project management and problem solving/troubleshooting skills

I have 12 years of hands-on eCommerce and Digital Marketing experience. It’s all about managing projects of all sizes - website development, creating and launching campaigns, mentoring and nurturing teams, keeping a content calendar, and, crucially, putting off fires every day.

Have a look at the experience page, or download my full cv.

Excellent interpersonal skills

I’m a peoples’ person. I’m older than what I think will be your average applicant, which also means I have years of training in soft interpersonal skills. That comes in handy in the day to day of forging lasting relationships across teams and functions.

Very strong communication skills

one of my biggest contributions to the team I managed until recently (based in Casablanca, Morocco) was to coach them on how to report to stakeholders of different backgrounds, more specifically how to use storytelling when sharing dry, hard to grasp concepts and numbers. You can see my written skills here, but for oral communication we’ll have to have that interview…

I know enough about HTML and CSS to save my life, but wouldn’t call myself a coder.
